Cary Dunston serves as Chief Executive Officer of Artistic Pavers, where he provides executive and strategic leadership while guiding the company’s continued growth, organizational development, and long-term vision.
Cary brings more than 20 years of experience in the housing and construction-products industry. Before joining Artistic Pavers, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of American Woodmark Corporation, a cabinet manufacturer with approximately $1.8 billion in annual revenue.
Cary was inspired to join the paver industry by the tremendous opportunity to help grow a company with an exceptional product and significant market potential. What he enjoys most about working at Artistic Pavers is the incredible team and the genuine passion employees have for the company, its products, and the industry.
Since joining Artistic Pavers, Cary has helped establish a new company vision, mission statement, and core values. These initiatives are designed to unite employees around a shared purpose and provide a clear direction for the company’s future.
Originally from Washington, Illinois, Cary enjoys traveling and photography. His personal quote about the power of storytelling is, “Through story, we truly learn to live, to care, and ultimately, to see. We must all learn to give our own story to this world, as well as be willing to receive.”
A fun fact about Cary is that he grew up in the country raising quarter horses and feels most at home wearing jeans and cowboy boots.
